Operation Eagles Warmth is a success. We've sent sweat pants, shirts, and socks to the Balad Air Force Theater Hospital in Iraq for the last year. They sent some really cool letters of appreciation and certificates thanking all those volunteers that sent packages and boxes of these much needed items. Well, I think our quiet little website for Operation:Eagle has gotten more hits today than it has in it's existence! Bill (OpEagle here on blogger) had a letter to the editor published in the USA Today for 12/22/06. Pretty cool. On their website edition, they actually had a link to the Operation:Eagle website!
